Finding Hope in the Journey
I have been a counselor since 2006 and find great joy and meaning in helping individuals and couples grow and develop. I have learned in life and counseling that pain is an inevitable part of growth but that meaning and hope bring purpose in the journey.
I feel that a major role of counseling is to help you find the values and meaning that bring healing and growth. I am actively engaged in the process and feel that your work outside of the office helps to solidify the insights that are gained in our work.
I am a strong proponent of clients finding a good fit in counseling and I want to hear from you what is working and what is not. As clients develop the skill of providing honest feedback with me, that can help them to use that skill in more challenging relationships.
On the personal side, I have been married 24 years. I have three boys and a little girl. Most of my hobbies are connected to their interests. I run, bike, and play disc golf with my boys. My daughter and I love music and playing together. I find great joy in faith and spirituality. While I feel that prayer can help in any struggle, I also understand that we need practical tools and skills to manage the stress of life.
I am excited to start a journey with you.
